The mobile screen is no longer a single rectangle. As foldable phones move from concept to shipping product, an app has to feel right on a compact cover display, on an unfolded tablet-sized canvas, and everything in between. Designing for that spectrum is less about new gestures and more about layout that adapts gracefully.
Our approach is to design around content priority, not fixed screens. We decide what matters most, then let the interface reflow to the space available. Done well, the fold becomes an opportunity — room for context and side-by-side views — rather than a compatibility headache.
